Project Overview
RoRo vessels present a particular safety management challenge: large open cargo decks, tight turnaround times in port, and a crew that needs a fast, clear picture of what's happening across the whole ship — not just the bridge — the moment something goes wrong.
For one RoRo vessel, I implemented a Safety Management System to bring fire detection, doors, and dampers together into a single operating picture. Instead of crew having to interpret alarms from several separate panels scattered around the ship.
For a RoRo operator running tight port schedules and fast turnarounds, the payoff is confidence: one clear, unified view of ship safety status at every stage of the voyage, from departure to arrival.
